Holy Hell… This is good!

Saw this over at Gizmodo… Hell, I can’t 100% past easy mode and I actually play guitar. (or used to)

News Flash – I Can’t Sing

worldtour I used to play the guitar, but I have learned recently that I can not sing. I can sing good enough to fool a game though. I was reading news item at Engadget about a Microphone that was incompatible with Rock Star which was funny since I’ve been goofing off with the Kids on the Wii lately.

Over the weekend and last night, I have been the lead singer of the band in both American Idol and my daughter’s new Guitar Hero game. Turns out the mic from American Idol for the Wii works with the newest Guitar Hero that allows for “band” additions now.

You should have heard me and Brittney doing Korn’s Freak on a Leash. Brutal. Last night my son and I tore up Lips of an Angel and Knocking on Heaven’s Door on American Idol. I’ll have to record some of this and share. :)

What’s Chris Up To?

Where has that SOB been, what’s he doing?
I have spent alot of time watching Football, Redoing another website (SEC Talk), Some Family Time, and watching Planet Earth on Blueray.

After the dust settled on the Mobilitysite/Aximsite merger, I took a little time off. Then back at it.

I haven’t blogged here much because my nights have been filled with fun and exciting activities more than in the past. I used to get the bulk of all my site related work done at night, so the site production from me is suffering because of my new nightlife.

I just redesigned SEC Talk for the football season and added some new features to the site. I added user blogs, a photo gallery (which will be coming to Aximsite soon too), and a fresh new look. We also hit 5000 members this weekend too.

I have been playing some video games, spending time with the family, and watching alot of football and more Planet Earth than a human should be allowed to watch.

I purchased the Planet Earth Series on Blueray a last month and I can not stop watching!

This is just a post to tell where I’ve been… Not promising more updates here, just a heads up. :)

Contest Winners

A couple weeks back, I slid a contest that was disguised as a regular post in here. Here are the winners from that.

Nachum Cooper wins College Hoops 2k7 for PS2 and Paul Rocco wins Lego Star Wars II for the PC. (My son loves Lego Star Wars II on the Xbox 360)

Congrats and email me your mailing info!

SNES HEAVEN – Buy every single SNES Game made!

Only one picture is needed to show how awesome this Ebay Auction I read about on Engadget is…

Viva Tony!

Viva Tony for sending me Viva Pinata!

My son sure loves this game, but it’s a tough one for a 4 year old. Luckily we have modern gaming that allows for voice and animation, it really helps understand the game a ton!

One warning to parents, you WILL HAVE TO PLAY too with young ones. I don’t enjoy these type games, but it is fun to make my son happy.

Viva Piñata™ is a window to another world where wild-roaming, living piñata animals inhabit a growing, changing garden world. Take control of this environment and the piñata within it, influencing its contents to create your very own pet paradise.

Once you have resident piñatas, begin to personalize your loyal community. Piñatas can be individually named and given their own personally designed tag to put on display as a declaration of their home turf. The customization doesn’t end there. Make the colorful critters more distinctive by customizing them with all kinds of costumes and accessories.”

Games for Windows – Here ya go Tyler

For my MVP Lead, Tyler, I wanted to post this photo to show you that the retail outlets are starting to “get with it” on the new branding! Even in Alabama!

Lego Star Wars II – A hit with my kids!

They have controlled the living room most of the day now…

This game allows them both to play cooperatively. If they would just cooperate, game over. haha

It’s really a pretty fun game. I played with them some.
